Pneumoccal Vaccine Comparison Chart
This pneumococcal vaccine comparison chart summarizes key operational and clinical details across multiple study protocols, including study names, locations, visit schedules, stipend amounts, dosing regimens, study drugs and comparators, blood draw requirements, age eligibility, and additional requirements such as study duration and diary entries. This chart allows multi site team of research professionals to clearly explain what participation would look like, including how many visits are required, what procedures will be done, and how long the study will last, making it easier for potential patients and their families to understand expectations and make informed decisions. Creating this chart strengthened my ability to interpret complex clinical trial protocols and translate them into a clear and standardized format. It also deepening my understanding of how differences in study design can impact study execution and patient communication.
Lunch and Learn Slides for all Active Research Studies
This presentation provides a comprehensive overview of multiple pediatric clinical research studies conducted at Parkside Pediatrics, with a focus on investigational vaccines for infants and children. It highlights key study components including target populations, study duration, visit schedules, procedures (such as vaccinations and blood draws), and participant stipends, offering a clear comparison across different protocols.
The presentation emphasizes the purpose of each study in evaluating safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity while also showcasing how investigational vaccines differ from currently approved options in terms of strain coverage and delivery methods. Overall, it demonstrates an understanding of clinical trial design, pediatric study requirements, and the role of research in advancing vaccine development and disease prevention.
